small groups

We love our small groups because that's where so much of the ministry of the church happens. It's where we study the Bible together. It's where we truly get to know each other. And it's where we learn what it means to be God's family together.

We encourage everyone to be part of one of our many small groups, most of which meet in people's homes throughout the week. If you'd like to join one of our small groups, please call the church office at 541-271-3928 and we'll help you get connected.

Married People

Marriage ministry

We believe in the importance of marriage. And we know from personal experience that when your marriage is good, everything's better. But when your marriage is rough, it makes everything else hard, too. The truth is that struggle is normal, but HOPE is available. That's why we invest time and resources to help the marriages in our community thrive. We'd love to have you join us at one of our fun large marriage events, on a date night, or in a small group marriage study. We always offer childcare so that doesn't need to be a barrier.

christian counseling

"You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

--John 8:32

We are pleased to be able to offer skilled Christian counseling each Friday with Pastor Roger Horton, LCPC, of LifeCare Collaborative Counseling in Roseburg. Roger sees clients from 11am to 6pm. If you would like to make an appointment, please call our church office at 541-271-3928.

missions

“We were sent to speak for Christ, and God is begging you to listen to our message. We speak for Christ and sincerely ask you to make peace with God.”

 --2 Corinthians 5:20

We’re committed to helping people “make peace with God” by being Christ’s hands and feet, beginning here in Reedsport and spreading out into the whole world. Our church contributes to our local Project Blessing Food Pantry and administers a benevolent fund for folks in our community who need front-line assistance. We help to coordinate Christmas in July, a practical assistance program for homeowners who can’t otherwise maintain their homes. We contribute to the work of the Coos County Pregnancy Resource Center, and our children’s and youth programs sponsor children through Children of Promise and World Vision. We support ministries in Europe and Asia through Bridge Builders International, and we support missionaries in the Philippines. And perhaps most importantly, we each try to live as God has called us to in our own homes, our neighborhoods, and our workplaces.

"If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, and the servant of all."

             ---Mark 9:35

  • dinner divas

Know of someone who is ill or having surgery? Maybe the Dinner Divas can help by preparing meals for several days to allow them the time to just rest and concentrate on healing. Please pass these needs on to the church office at 541-271-3928. We'll gladly help!

  • mckay's receipts

Need a place to put those recent grocery receipts? We have just the place! Simply place them in the basket on the end of the counter in the church office. These receipts are then turned into McKay's, which donates a portion of those amounts to our local AARP Food Pantry. Thanks!
