On Saturday, July 11, volunteers from across the community will meet at the Lower Umpqua Senior Center in Reedsport to start the day with a hot breakfast at 8:00am. Afterwards we'll break into teams to go tackle yard work and small home repairs for low-income and elderly homeowners in our community. Form a team with your friends or coworkers, or take a look at the project lists at breakfast time and choose which team you would like to join. The more people we have sign up to help, the more projects we'll be able to do for our neighbors in need. We invite volunteers of all ages to join in. (Students earn community service hours.) No matter your skill set, we'll find a good job for you. And our time working together is always lots of fun!
