Please join us at the Reedsport Church of God to celebrate the life of Jo Laskey on Saturday, September 19th, 2026 at 1:00pm. ------------------------- Opal Joanne Laskey, affectionately known as “Jo” to her family and friends, passed away on September 10, 2026, in Reedsport, Oregon. She was 91 years old. Jo was born on April 12, 1935, in Reedsport to Keith and Opal Shepherd. She remained a longtime resident of the community she called home. Family was the most important part of Jo’s life. Her loving and nurturing spirit touched each generation of her family, leaving them with many cherished memories. Jo is survived by her son, Donald M. Laskey and his wife, Patty; her granddaughter, Megan Laskey-Coe, and her husband, Dr. Ian Coe; her grandson, Clay Laskey and his wife, Kaylie; her great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Isabella; and one brother. She was preceded in passing by her beloved husband of 57 years, Donald Laskey; her parents, Keith and Opal Shepherd; and two of her siblings. Jo will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
