22nd Street
Get ready for a LOT of candy! Starting at 1pm on Halloween afternoon, Friday, October 31st, 22nd Street in Reedsport will come alive as decorated cars open their trunks to children and their families. Folks from across the community come to celebrate, creating a safe, festive, and lively atmosphere that’s perfect for all ages! The evening includes a free lunch of "walking" chili pie. (That's a bag of Fritos filled with cheese and homemade chili.) It's a meal on the go! Lunch will be available from 1pm until the end of the event at 2:30pm. In order to make a safe space for pedestrians, we'll be closing 22nd Street between the church and football field to traffic at 12pm. Volunteers can begin parking their decorated cars starting at 12pm. We'll provided a dinner to all volunteers at 12:30pm. Starting at 1pm, kids can go down the line of trunks to fill their candy bags. Make sure you grab some hot drinks before you go! Lunch and trunk 'n' treating will end at 2:30pm. This event is free and open to all. It's safe family fun for everyone!
