Pastor Ancil began as our interim pastor in March of 2021. We're grateful to have his leadership as we ready our church for a new lead pastor. Kristen grew up in the Reedsport Church of God and returned to Reedsport with her family in 1999. In January 2014 she began serving the church as the associate pastor. rachel carter
office manager

Scott Thomas
Facility Manager
Scott came out of early retirement to take on our facility manager position in 2021. Scott is also our artist-in-residence who for years has transformed our Vacation Bible School environments into spectacular immersive experiences. You can contact Scott at 541-271-3928.

We have two identical worship services each Sunday—at 8:30am and 10:00am. We also livestream our 8:30am service each Sunday right here.
Our kids' programs—Sunday Morning Live and Refinery 2.0—occur during the 10:00am service. Please join us!

God created us to praise him from our earliest breath. Worshiping God is our main work in life, and everything we do can be a form of worship. During our services, one way we worship God is through music. At Reedsport Church of God, our music is a "blend" of the traditional and the new.

We are an independent congregation affiliated with the Church of God, Anderson, Indiana. Our history dates back to home prayer meetings that began in 1946. By 1957, four families had begun meeting together in the rented Union Hall for the first Church of God service in Reedsport. On March 28, 1965, the first services were held in our new building at its present location. Over the years, many people from many different church backgrounds have joined our congregation, and many in town consider us to be the “community church.” It’s a designation we’re comfortable with. We welcome everyone to come and see what our community looks like!
